PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method capable of extracting a high order autocorrelation (HLAC) feature quantity, and detecting failure, which is excellent in linearity and additivity.;SOLUTION: The HLAC feature quantity extracting method includes: a step of mapping one dimensional signal in a time-frequency plane; a step of accumulating the HLAC by moving a two dimensional local mask pattern in a block region for each segmented block by dividing its time axis and frequency axis; and a step of extracting and combining each term from the HLAC feature quantity calculated from blocks which are lined up along the frequency axis.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
