PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a false scalp smell composition for an adult having a smell proximity to a more actual scalp smell, reproducing the smell of the scalp of an adult and capable of certainly and easily performing evaluation of masking, suppression or deodorization effect of the scalp smell, and an evaluation method using it.;SOLUTION: The false scalp smell composition includes component (A): 2-methylhexanoic acid, component (B): one kind or more of compound selected from the group consisting of a 2-12C aliphatic acid and a 6-10C aldehyde, and component (C): a 14-18C aliphatic acid, and in the composition, a mass ratio: (A)/((B)+(C)) is ≥1/500 and 1/50.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
