PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antifreezing structure of a water quality inspection opening water surface which can prevent freezing of a water surface of a water area where the water quality is to be measured into which a wire with a built-in cable of a water quality inspection apparatus is dropped, and observing water quality smoothly even in a winter season or in a water storage area in a cold district.;SOLUTION: In a water quality inspection device including a sensor box (water quality inspection apparatus) 2 suspended from the wire 4 with the built-in cable movably up and down in the water depth direction by a lifting device 3 installed on a revetment of a water storage area where the water quality is to be measured such as a dam lake, for measuring the water quality of the water storage area W with respect to a prescribed item, a protection float 5 having a double layer gap structure which can include a throw-in section water area surface WS of the wire 4 with the built-in cable with double walls is provided.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
