PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress a sound noise generated from a disc brake apparatus.;SOLUTION: A grease characteristics inspection system is equipped with: a vibration application device 110 for applying a vibration to a to-be-inspected grease 200 used for a brake pad 10 in the disc brake apparatus on the predetermined vibration application condition; and a grease characteristics calculation apparatus 130 for obtaining characteristics of the grease 200 against the vibration, based on a property of the grease 200 detected on the vibration application condition.
