PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fine recessed part working method and a fine recessed part working machine for machining a die for a lens or a die for a lens array having many lenses which is good in working accuracy and pitch accuracy and has less unevenness.;SOLUTION: A workpiece machining surface 4a is vertically held on a horizontal table 2. A turning tool 9 is attached to a rotating spindle 7 vertically opposed to the machining surface so that an axis 10 corresponds to an end 9b of a cutting edge. A fine recessed part 11 is machined in such a manner that the rotating spindle is continuously rotated and the workpiece machining surface and the tip end of the turning tool are relatively moved to the machining surface forward and backward, vertically and transversely so that a cutting face 9c of the end of the turning tool is constantly directed to an advancing direction of the turning tool. The tip end of the turning tool has a fine R shape and the tip end of the cutting edge of the turning tool is relatively spirally moved toward a center from an outer side of the fine recessed part.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
