The control packet includes a group ID capable of uniquely identifying a transmission terminal and a transmission port. The node requested to conduct data transmission secures a requested wavelength and sets up a sub-wavelength path. A band assigned to the sub-wavelength path is subtracted from empty bands of a link and a wavelength where the sub-wavelength path is established, and the table is updated.
