PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reproduce a newly requested gazing-region video image by continuing a reproduction time from the gazing-region video image during stream reproduction, in partial distribution of a video distribution system.;SOLUTION: A reproducing terminal transmits an encoded data distribution request corresponding to a selected gazing region through a network to a distribution server. The distribution server continuously reads out encoded data, which are being read currently, without any change, reads encoded data corresponding to a newly requested gazing region from the head of the next GOP (Group Of Picture) to firstly distribute identification information identifying which portion of a video image corresponds to the read encoded data, and next distribute encoded data for one GOP sequentially, in this order through the network to the reproduction terminal. The reproduction terminal sequentially receives the identification information and the encoded data for one GOP and compares the identification information with the identification information being decoded, and when these pieces of identification information are different, the identification information is updated and decoded, thereby, stream reproduction of the newly requested gazing-region video image from the head of the next GOP is performed.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
