PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bond strength testing device for substantially eliminating backlash.;SOLUTION: The bond strength testing device (12) includes: a body (25); a test tool mount (21) for holding a test tool (10); an assembly of a screw (33) and a nut (34) for enabling axial relative movement between the test tool mount (21) and the body (25); and backlash control elements (27, 28) for biasing the test tool mount (21) in an axial direction to the body (25) in operation. The backlash control elements (27, 28) is switchable between a first state in which the test tool mount (21) is biased in a first axial direction and a second state in which the test tool mount (21) is biased in a second axial direction or no biasing force is applied to the test tool mount (21).;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
