PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotating body driving device which highly accurately drives a drum, without causing the rotational fluctuations of the drum and which is easily maintained.;SOLUTION: The rotating body driving device rotationally drives a photoreceptor drum 1Y from a motor 10 through a planetary gear speed reduction mechanism including a sun gear 70 provided in a motor shaft 11, a planetary gear 80 rotatably held by a carrier 90, an internal gear 30 meshed with the planetary gear 80, and the output shaft 40 of the carrier 90. In the rotating body driving device, the output shaft 40 is supported in a floating state by a floating support receiver 51, the photoreceptor drum 1Y is rotationally driven through a gear coupling 22 provided in the output shaft 40, and even when a difference is caused between the axial centers of the output shaft 40 and a drum flange 21 by the rotational alignment operation of the carrier 90, rotation can be naturally and surely transmitted by the rotational alignment operation of the carrier 90.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
