PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a robot to autonomously acquire response strategies by treating relationships of generation of reactions from actions as stochastic models and identifying the stochastic models.;SOLUTION: A response strategy acquisition apparatus 13 for observing a reaction b_j to an initiative action a_i made by an initiator 1 to acquire a response strategy Z(b_j, a_i) indicating how to output the reaction b_j of a reactor 2 to the initiative action a_i.
