PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate reutilization of blade units of recovered process cartridges.;SOLUTION: A cleaning blade before recovery 24 and a cleaning blade to be re-produced 41 have positioning portions 36 and 38 on two pairs of metal plates, respectively, which are capable of equalizing an intrusion amount M into a photoreceptor drum 7. A distance X1 between the positioning portion 36 on the pair of metal plates and an end portion 29 to which an elastic blade member 39 is fixed, and a distance X2 between the positioning portion 38 on the other pair of metal plates and an end portion 37 to which a re-produced blade member 40 is fixed, are made equal to each other. Then, the cleaning blade 41, which is obtained by providing the re-shaped blade member 40 at the second end portion 37 of the cleaning blade before recovery 24, is fixed on a frame body and its edge portion is abutted against the photoreceptor drum 7.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
