PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a calcium phosphate-based compound layer which shows high adhesion properties to titanium or a titanium alloy, is extremely thin, and is bioactive on a surface of the titanium or the titanium alloy easily and inexpensively.;SOLUTION: A method of producing a bone compatible titanium material includes: a process of preparing a HAP (Hydroxyapatite) slurry 5 by mixing a HAP powder 2 and distilled water 3; a process of embedding a specimen 6 composed of the titanium or the titanium alloy in the HAP slurry 5; and a process of forming an HAP layer with a thickness of 5-100 nm on the surface of the specimen 6 by performing a thermal treatment on the HAP slurry 5 in which the specimen 6 is embedded in the atmosphere.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
