PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system that can implement effective reduction of wasteful power consumption by making a person who is trying to reduce wasteful power consumption strongly achieve the effect of reduction of wasteful power consumption, and thereby making the person have a motivation to continue the reduction of wasteful power consumption.;SOLUTION: The system includes an outlet 1, a switch 14, a power measuring apparatus 15, a display panel 16, a reading operation unit 19 that reads a wasteful amount of power such as standby energy that is measured by the power measuring apparatus 15 when the switch 14 is turned off, a timer, and a processing control unit 19.
