COUNTERMEASURE TO OIL CONTAMINATION COMPRISING JETTING/STIRRING OIL DISPERSANT AT HIGH PRESSURE INTO OIL-CONTAMINATED SOIL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accomplish the cleaning of the ground contaminated with oil in a short time of a few days using a relatively small-scale facility, irrespective of an unsaturated zone or a saturated zone constituting the ground.;SOLUTION: An oil dispersant is jetted into oil-contaminated soil at a high pressure. The ground structure is destroyed by the kinetic energy of the high pressure jet stream, and the soil comprising oil is forcibly mixed and stirred with an oil dispersant. The oil component is dispersed and micronized to remove oil films. Further, oil odor is neutralized by a deodorant contained in the oil dispersant. Thereafter, a hardening agent of a cement type is jetted at a high pressure into soil comprising the oil-contaminated soil and the oil dispersant which are stirred and mixed together, to harden the oil-contaminated soil, whereby a hydrocarbon partly remaining therein is made insoluble. The oil component is prevented from flowing out again from an underground petroleum tank to prevent it from re-contaminating the soil.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
