PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect a feature in terms of a distribution of a specific part on a surface of a product.;SOLUTION: The specific part distribution detector 100 includes an image acquisition section 2 imaging a surface of a product and acquiring an image of the surface, a treated image generation section 10 generating a treated image containing two or more specific pixels from the image of the surface, a specific pixel coordinate acquisition section 11 acquiring a coordinate of a specific pixel on a rectangular XY-coordinate system set on the treated image, a repetitive characteristic deriving section 12 deriving a combination of a pitch and a phase difference of two coordinates among coordinates of the two or more specific pixels as a repetitive characteristic, a coordinate system conversion system 13 converting the combination into a coordinate on a rectangular GR-coordinate system using the rectangular GR-coordinate system with coordinate axes of a pitch G and a phase difference R and counting the conversion times per coordinate to output a count result, and a repetitive feature detection section 14 detecting a repetitive feature formed by the two or more specific pixels based on analysis of the count result.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
