PSOLUTION: In the method of inspecting a short-circuiting of a control valve type lead storage battery for inspecting a short-circuiting of a plurality of serially connected control valve type lead storage batteries, a constant current charge is performed to the control valve type lead storage batteries in a fully charged state by a prescribed minute current, voltage between terminals for the respective lead storage batteries is measured, and the presence and absence of an extremely minute short-circuiting of the lead storage batteries are discriminated on the basis of the voltage between the terminals of the plurality of measured lead storage batteries.
