PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pharmaceutical composition, including a TAT-HOXB4H protein, for enhancing mobilization of hematopoietic stem cells (HSC) from bone marrow to peripheral blood, and a pharmaceutical composition for improving the recovery time of a patient having undergone HSC transplantation, irradiation, or chemotherapy. PSOLUTION: The pharmaceutical composition, including the TAT-HOXB4H protein, for enhancing the mobilization of HSCs from bone marrow to peripheral blood is administered in an effective amount to a subject in need thereof, and allows the TAT-HOXB4H protein to increase the absolute number of HSCs in the bone marrow of the subject thereby enhancing the mobilization of HSCs to the peripheral blood of the subject.
