METHOD OF REINFORCING END OF SHEET FOR CONSTRUCTION WORK

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To re-use, as a filler cloth for reinforcement, the butt of sheets (treated as industrial waste if not re-used) which is produced in the process of preparing a variety of sheets.;SOLUTION: This method of reinforcing the end of a sheet for construction work and attaching eyelets thereto includes steps (a)-(f) below. In step (a), a sheet piece for filler cloth with a predetermined width is prepared from the butt of sheets for construction work produced when sheets for construction work with small widths are cut out from the master roll of the sheets for construction work beforehand. In step (b), the end of the body of the sheet for construction work is folded back. In step (c), a chord serving as a core is inserted into the returned part of the end. In step (d), the sheet piece for filler cloth prepared in step (a) is applied to the returned part to use as a filler cloth. In step (e), the points requiring fixing are sewn or welded.
