PSOLUTION: A cellular phone machine has, in a storage device, a character code set-mounting area in which character codes are installed, and a character code set corresponding font-mounting area 301 in which the corresponding fonts are installed. The character code set-mounting area includes existing character code set-mounting reserve areas in which newly installed character codes are stored, and the character code set corresponding font-mounting area 301 includes exiting character code set corresponding font-mounting reserve areas 303 in which the fonts corresponding to the character codes stored in the already existing character code set-mounting reserve areas are stored. The exiting character code set corresponding font-mounting reserve areas 303 are set to be larger in the number than the already exiting character code set-mounting reserve areas.
