PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cable connection portion or the like which has a smaller cross section while maintaining strength and flexibility to lateral pressure.;SOLUTION: In the cable connection portion 1 that connects optical fiber cables 3 each other, a tube body 24 is arranged around a longitudinal direction of an optical fiber 11 of the connected optical fiber cables 3, and the tube body 24 is obtained by winding a long member in a spiral manner so as to abut on the longitudinal direction of the tube body 24 and so as not to overlap a radial direction of the tube body 24.
