ONCOFETAL FIBRONECTIN AS MARKER OF DISEASE AND OTHER SYMPTOMS AND METHOD FOR DETECTION OF ONCOFETAL FIBRONECTIN

PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for detecting oncofetal fibronectin indicator molecule, and a method for obtaining samples used on the detection method. PSOLUTION: The method is provided for detecting existence of the oncofetal fibronectin indicator molecule in a sample. The method includes: a step of contacting the sample with either a fibronectin or a substance which reduces nonspecific binding of a background material to the oncofetal fibronectin binding partner; a step of contacting the sample with either the fibronectin or the oncofetal fibronectin binding partner; and a step of detecting a complex formed between the oncofetal fibronectin indicator molecule and the fibronectin or the oncofetal fibronectin binding partner, where the detection of the complex will be the indicator for the presence of the oncofetal fibronectin indicator molecule in that sample.
