PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fault monitoring control system for collecting the status information of transmission devices and transmission lines, the fault monitoring control system achieved in the quick detection of a spot where a link disconnection fault occurs.;SOLUTION: The fault monitoring control system collects the contact information of a transmission system by a monitoring device, the transmission system performing data transmission by sequentially connecting the plurality of transmission devices 3-8 via the transmission lines. The transmission device sends remote link disconnection information to a next-stage transmission device when detecting the occurrence of link disconnection with a pre-stage transmission device, performs link shut-down processing on the next-stage transmission device when receiving the remote link disconnection information from the pre-stage transmission device, sends link disconnection detection contact information to the monitoring device when detecting the occurrence of link disconnection from the pre-stage transmission device, and sends the remote link disconnection contact information to the monitoring device when receiving the remote link disconnection information from the pre-stage transmission device. The monitoring device collects contact information from the respective transmission devices, and when two transmission devices which have sent the link disconnection detection contact information are present between transmission devices which have sent remote link disconnection contact information, the monitoring device determines the occurrence of link disconnection between the two transmission devices.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
