PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the following problems: satisfactory goods are not commercially available though there are many people suffering from backache and there is a strong social need for easily applying acupressure to the back of the body such as the hip, the buttock, the lower part of the back or the like themselves when the pain is mild; the most common manual acupressure stick which is tested is naturally operated with the arm behind, does not reach the desired point because the arm is behind and does not reach it, can not apply force, is difficult to operate and consequently fatigues the user; and it hardly works even when it is set up on the wall by hands as a trial with the expectation that drag from the wall acts, because the contact between the acupressure stick and the wall causes slippage.;SOLUTION: A nonslip member of rubber, soft plastic or the like is arranged on the bottom (the side other than the pressing part) of a conventional acupressure stick.
