PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fatigue strength-strengthened implant and a method for manufacturing the same.;SOLUTION: The method, which is used to form a porous layer on a forged orthopaedic implant, includes: (a) a step for providing an orthopaedic implant base made from a forged metal alloy and a plurality of metallic particles; (b) a step for incorporating the base with a substance which can lower the melting point of the base; (c) a step for bringing the surface of the base and the metallic particles into contact with each other; and (d) a step for heating the metallic particles and the base at a temperature of lower than the lowered melting point.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
