PRIMER COMPOSITION FOR VISCOELASTIC DAMPER, AND THE RESULTANT VISCOELASTIC DAMPER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a primer composition for a viscoelastic damper, enhancing the adhesions among various acrylic viscoelastic layers, and to provide a viscoelastic damper prevented from interlaminar peeling even if subjected to repeated vibrations through enhancing the adhesions among viscoelastic layers thanks to be incorporated with the primer composition.SOLUTION: The primer composition 20 for viscoelastic dampers is such as to be obtained by polymerizing a monomer mixture comprising: at least one nitrogen-containing monomer selected from the group consisting of dialkyl (meth)acrylamide, dialkylaminoalkyl (meth)acrylate and N-vinylimidazole; and a 4-22C alkyl-bearing (meth)acrylic monomer (4-22C monomer). In the primer composition, the nitrogen-containing monomer(s) is(are) included at 5.0-40 pts.mass based on 100 pts.mass of the other monomer mixture including the 4-22C monomer.
