PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the following problem: when a meta-data attaching apparatus is connected with a camera recorder to attach meta-data, an intended meta-data is not attached if an error or the like occurs in a connection.;SOLUTION: The meta-data attaching apparatus 110 includes: a meta-data input part 230 to input meta-information to be attached to content; a communication part 200 to make a connection with an external apparatus; an MAC address management part 250 to obtain apparatus identification information for uniquely identifying a storage device in which the content is stored via the communication part 200; a time management part 240 to obtain the time; and an attachment information-generating part 210 to store the failure time of a communication failure by the time management part 240, the apparatus identification information, and meta-information for the failed communication when the communication of the meta-information inputted in the meta-data input part 230 to the storage device fails, and to send the stored information at a given time using the communication part 200.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
