PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a muscle tone measuring instrument which can detect abnormal muscle tone irrespective of the posture and/or action of a person to be measured, a muscle tone measuring method, and a muscle tone measuring program.;SOLUTION: The muscle tone measuring instrument 1 includes: a posture and action information acquisition section 2; a myoelectricic potential measuring section 3; a posture and action information discerning section 4; a myoelectric potential database (myoelectric potential DB) 5; a myoelectric potential estimation section 6; and an abnormal muscle tone detection section 7. The myoelectric potential measuring section 3 measures myoelectric potential generated in the body of the person to be measured. The posture and action information acquisition section 2 acquires posture and action information of the person to be measured. The posture and action information discerning section 4 discerns what posture and action the person to be measured takes and performs. The myoelectric potential estimation section 6 estimates the myoelectric potential to be generated from the posture and action information by using the myoelectric potential DB 5. The abnormal muscle tone detection section 7 detects the abnormality of the muscle tone of the person to be measured by comparing actually measured myoelectric potential with estimated myoelectric potential at the same time as the actual measurement by posture and action information.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
