PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a load on a network by preventing an abnormal log from being duplicately transferred in transferring a trail log. PSOLUTION: A device for collecting log includes: a response data transfer part 11 which transfers response data having set an untransferred trail log to a request source in response to a trail log request; an abnormal log rate decision part 12 which decides whether a rate of abnormal logs to untransferred trail logs is a predetermined threshold value or larger, when an untransferred trail log duplicated with an abnormal log exists concerning the trail log request; a differential trail log preparation part 13 which prepares a differential trail log with the duplicated abnormal log deleted from the untransferred trail log when it is decided that the rate of the abnormal logs is the predetermined threshold value or larger; and a response data setting part 14 which sets the differential trail log to the response data when it is decided that the rate of the abnormal logs is the predetermined threshold value or larger, and which sets an untransferred trail log to the response data when it is decided that the rate of the abnormal logs is less than the predetermined threshold value.
