PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an Fe-based ferromagnetic shape memory alloy which has excellent shape memory properties in a practical use temperature, and which undergoes magnetic field induced transformation to recover its shape and undergoes a change in a magnetic property in a practical use temperature region, and to provide application of the Fe based ferromagnetic shape memory alloy. PSOLUTION: The Fe-based ferromagnetic shape memory alloy has a composition containing, by atom, 22 to 40% Mn and 25 to 35% Ga, and the balance Fe with inevitable impurities, and has a parent phase of a bcc structure.
