PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a consumable cartridge for an inkjet printer, configured to easily replenish ink and recording paper, and also, easily set an optimum printing condition.;SOLUTION: The consumable cartridge 2 for an inkjet printer includes: an ink storage part 8 for storing the ink 7 to be used for printing by means of an inkjet head 21; a paper storage part 6 for storing the printing paper 5 printable using the ink 7; and a storage circuit 16 for storing and holding ink information about the ink 7 stored in the ink storage part 8 and paper information about the recording paper 5 stored in the paper storage part 6. When the cartridge 2 is loaded to the loading part 24 of the inkjet printer 3, the ink 7 and the recording paper 5 can be simultaneously replenished, and also, the optimum printing condition can be automatically set on the side of the inkjet printer 3, using the information about the ink 7 and the information about the recording paper 5 supplied from the cartridge 2 to the inkjet printer 3.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
