PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas-wiping device which can reduce the amount of splashes depositing on the surface of a steel strip or a nozzle, by effectively eliminating the splashes produced by gas wiping.;SOLUTION: The gas-wiping device has a seal box which includes: a wiping nozzle; an upper-face partition plate that supports the wiping nozzle and extends from a tubular body for supplying a wiping gas to the wiping nozzle so as to oppose to the steel strip; a back vertical plate which extends downward from the rear end of the upper-face partition plate and has an exhaust port at the bottom edge; and both side plates. At the same time, the wiping nozzle has a cross section of which the shape draws a stream line toward a jet port at the head. The device further has a gas introduction plate formed of a curved tabular body installed therein which has the one end fixed on the lower side of the jet port at the head of the wiping nozzle having the cross section that draws the stream line, has the other end extending toward the direction of the back vertical plate, and shows a convex shape toward the steel strip which is raised and a hot-dip galvanizing bath.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
