PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a revetment block and a revetment construction method thereof, capable of efficient working, with a shorter construction period and a reduced construction cost, by using such revetment block as not limited in construction direction, relating to revetment construction for a slope of a river and seashore.;SOLUTION: The revetment block has almost T shape in top view, consisting of a large lateral block body 2 and a small block body 3 provided in front of the large block body 2. First engagement pieces 11 and 12 of protruding shape are formed on the surface of rear side as well as both right and left sides of the large block body 2. Second engagement pieces 13, 14, and 15 of recessed shape that overlap with the first engagement pieces 11 and 12 are formed, on the surface of front side of the large block body 2 and right and left sides as well as on the surface in front of the small block body 3.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
