PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an attachment which enables the sufficient and uniform compaction of a top-of-slope section of a dam body; to provide heavy equipment for compacting the top-of-slope section, which is equipped with the attachment; and to provide a method for constructing the dam body by using them. PSOLUTION: The attachment 10A is used for the compaction of the top-of-slope section 50a which is formed of an edge of a top surface F51 of the dam body 50, and an upper section of a slope F52 elongated obliquely downward from the edge. The attachment includes: a body portion 1 which comprises a top facing portion 1a having a first surface F1 facing the top surface F51 of the dam body 50, and a slope facing portion 1b making a predetermined angle with the first surface F1 and having a second surface F2 facing the slope F52 of the dam body 50; and a movable plate 2A which is arranged at the leading end of the slope facing portion 1b of the body portion 1.
