PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify astronomical guide in response to date and position simply.;SOLUTION: This astronomical guide device obtains information about date and information about position (S1, S2) and extracts candidates of the astronomical objects (or a group of astronomical objects and the same hereinafter) to be visually confirmed on the date and at a position indicated by the information (S3). This astronomical guide device displays the extracted candidates in a list (S4) and selects the astronomical object corresponding to user's selection (S5, S6). After that, this astronomical guide device generates image data indicating the selected astronomical object and displays a guide image for guiding the astronomical object (S7, S8).
