PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ferritic stainless steel sheet having excellent plane anisotropy upon forming, ridging resistance and roughening resistance, and also to provide a method for producing the same.;SOLUTION: The ferritic stainless steel thin sheet with reduced plane anisotropy upon forming, excellent ridging resistance and roughening resistance has a steel composition containing, by mass, 0.005 to 0.030% C, 0.01 to 2.00% Si, 0.01 to 3.00% Mn, 0.040% P, ≤0.03% S, 12.5 to 22.0% Cr, 0.0005 to 0.2000% Al, 0.005 to 0.040% N and ≤0.050% C+N, and the balance iron with inevitable impurities, and in which the difference between the maximum value and the minimum value of tensile strength when, in the sheet face, a tensile test is performed to the three directions of 0°, 45° and 90° from the rolling direction is 20 MPa, and earing height upon cylindrical deep drawing at a contraction ratio of 2.0 is ≤2.0 mm.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
