PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air-cell conditioning method and an air-cell manufacturing method in which an air cell having high coulombic efficiency is manufactured. PSOLUTION: The air-cell manufacturing method for manufacturing the air cell includes a power generating section manufacturing step of manufacturing the power generation step with an air electrode, electrolyte and a negative electrode; and a conditioning step of performing discharging and charging of the power generation section, at a rate which is higher than the discharge and charge rate at normal use. The air-cell conditioning method for conditioning the air cell performs discharging and charging, at a rate which is higher than the discharge and charge rate at normal use.
