The optical modulator or the light switch of the high speed which reduces optical loss is disclosed. The device by the aspect of this invention includes optical supuritsuta which is arranged inside the semi-conducting material. The light beam which possesses 1st wave length the 1st part and is divided into the 2nd part by optical supuritsuta. The 1st optical waveguide which is arranged in the semi-conducting material and the 2nd optical waveguide light is connected to optical supuritsuta. The 1st part of the light beam and the 2nd part is induced, in order the 1st optical waveguide and to pass by 2nd optical waveguide each one. The 1st optical waveguide is connected furthermore, in order to receive the excited light beam, light. The excited light beam the 1st part of the light beam of 1st wave length expansion and phase has the excited power level in order to make shift excited wave length, and in the 1st optical waveguide. Diode structure is arranged inside the 1st optical waveguide. Diode structure is biased in order to sweep the free carrier which is formed according to two photon absorption inside the optical waveguide from the 1st optical waveguide ru selectively. The optical coupler is arranged inside the semi-conducting material, in order the 1st part of the light beam and to synthesize the 2nd part, the 1st optical waveguide and light is connected to the 2nd optical waveguide.
