PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for controlling charge, improving the safety and reliability of a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery, and also to provide a charge control computer program, a device for controlling charge, a secondary battery system, a secondary battery power supply, a mobile body, and a power tool. PSOLUTION: In the method for controlling the charge of the nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery 1, the state of charging the nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery 1 with a nonaqueous electrolyte between electrodes is controlled. In the method for controlling charge, the target state SOCu of charge as a target of stopping charge is preset in response to an ambient temperature of the nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery 1. In the method, the target state SOCu (such as 95%) of charge when the ambient temperature is a previously predetermined specific temperature (such as 25C or 20 to 30C), is set at a value higher than the target state SOCu of charge at temperatures excepting the specific temperature.
