REPAIRING METHOD OF FOOTSTEP AND COLLAR, ENGAGING PLATE AND COLLAR FOR FIXING FOOTSTEP TO FRONT WHEEL SHAFT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for easily repairing an abraded member such as an engaging part of a footstep and a collar of a front wheel shaft for an existing passenger conveyor, and to provide an attachable/detachable engaging plate and the collar for easily replacing an abraded member for a new passenger conveyor.;SOLUTION: In this repairing method of the footstep and the collar of the passenger conveyor, the footstep is rotatably installed on the front wheel shaft 3 by engaging a collar engaging part of the footstep via the collar with the front wheel shaft 3 for connecting right-left footstep chains 2. When the collar engaging part of the footstep is abraded, an engaging plate 20 having a groove in the same shape as a normal collar engaging part is superposably fixed to the abraded collar engaging part, and a repairing collar 22 divisible in a semicircular shape is installed on the front wheel shaft 3, and the footstep is fixed to the front wheel shaft 3 by engaging the groove of the engaging plate 20 with the repairing collar 22.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
