PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device improving the thermal efficiency of an external combustion type closed cycle heat engine designed and manufactured under various conditions without relating the volume of a heater or a cooler to the efficiency of the engine.;SOLUTION: The cylinders of the external combustion type closed cycle heat engine are formed into a multiple cylinder type sharing a heater and a cooler.
