PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic head suspension with a wire-protective layer having excellent chemical resistance and heat resistance.;SOLUTION: The magnetic head suspension is provided with an insulating base 12, a wiring part 13 arranged in one face of the insulating base 12, and a spring characteristic metal 14 arranged in the other face of the insulating base 12. The wiring part 13 is covered with a wire protective layer 19.
