PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waste straw binding device of a head-feeding combine provided with a stock aligning device placed at the stock base side of a straw binding device in a manner to enable the change of the position in the direction of the straw length and capable of beating and aligning the stock base end of the waste straw during the bundling operation and with a waste straw transporting device capable of adjusting the transport end position in the transportation direction, wherein the positions of the stock aligning device and the waste straw transporting device are controlled in high accuracy to perform the binding with high uniformity of the length from the stock base to the binding position.;SOLUTION: The waste straw binding device is provided with an automatic means for changing the stock aligning position to control the position of the stock aligning device in the direction of the waste straw length based on the detection result of the stock base position of the waste stray supplied to the waste straw binding device. The binding device is further provided with a position detecting means for the stock aligning device and an automatic means for changing the transportation end position to change the transportation end position in the transporting direction by a waste straw transporting device 20 based on the detected position information of the stock aligning device.
