PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for preparing a pavement material composition, by which the pavement material composition is prepared on construction site into a composition with a viscosity suitable for construction without receiving influences on characteristics caused by differences in a production site of gravel-like aggregate and in collecting time of the gravel or the like.;SOLUTION: The method for preparing the pavement material composition comprises: a sprinkling process for sprinkling an aqueous emulsion 6 from above the aggregate 5 after accommodating the aggregate 5 mixed on the construction site in a transparent resin sheet 7 covering the inner surface of an accommodating container 4; a permeation settling process for settling an emulsion layer 10 so that the layer permeates downward along the gap between the aggregates 5 according to the gravity, the emulsion layer of the aqueous emulsion 6 being formed while temporarily remaining on the layer upper surface 9a of the aggregate layer 9 of the aggregate 5 by the sprinkling process; and a composition extracting process for extracting the aggregate 5 and the pavement material composition 1 of the aqueous emulsion 6 together with the transparent resin sheet 7 from the accommodation container 4 after the permeation mixture of the aqueous emulsion 6 into the aggregate layer 9 is completed while the emulsion layer 10 is lost from the layer upper surface 9a of the aggregate layer 9.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
