PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide pigment-coated paper for gloss ink-based printing, excellent in offset printing suitability, having printing suitability with a high speed ink jet printers using water-based pigment inks, and suitable for hybrid printing.;SOLUTION: The pigment-coated paper for printing, which has at least inside pigment-coated layer and the most surface pigment-coated layer on one side of base paper is characterized in that the inside pigment-coated layer comprises 100 pts.mass of a pigment, ≥50 pts.mass of light calcium carbonate, and 8 to 15 pts.mass of a styrene-butadiene copolymer latex as a binder, and the most surface pigment-coated layer is a layer prepared by coating a dried coating layer comprising 100 pts.mass of the pigment, ≥50 pts.mass of light calcium carbonate having an average particle diameter (short diameter) of ≤0.8 μm, and 4 to 30 pts.mass of a styrene-butadiene copolymer latex as a binder, with the aqueous solution of a water-soluble polybasic metal salt, and then drying the coated layer.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
