PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structural health monitoring system which uses an optical fiber sensor and which can easily support the construction management and maintenance of a structure.;SOLUTION: In this structural health monitoring system 100 for monitoring a state of the structure, the optical fiber sensor 10 is provided during the construction period of the structure, and continuously used over an in-service period from that time. The structural health monitoring system 100 includes: a distortion measurement means 20 for measuring distortion of the structure on the basis of detection performed by the optical fiber sensor 10; a monitoring means 50 for monitoring the distortion measured by the distortion measurement means 20; and a management policy determination means 60 for determining a construction management policy of the structure during the construction period and determining a maintenance management policy of the structure during the in-service period, on the basis of the result of monitoring performed by the monitoring means 50.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
