PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grease trap which suppresses an outflow of oil to the outside.;SOLUTION: The grease trap 10 includes a tank 12 for storing outflow waste water, a basket 14, diaphragms 16, 18, and a drain pipe 20. The drain pipe 20 is provided with an inlet 22 and an outlet 24. The wastewater in the tank 12 is taken in from the inlet 22 of the drain pipe 20 and discharged outside the tank 12 from the outlet 24. The inlet 22 is opened vertically upward. It is most preferable that the inlet 22 of the drain pipe 20 is opened so as to face a horizontal plane. As oil in the waste water is lighter than water, opening the inlet 22 of the drain pipe 20 vertically upward makes entering of the oil in the wastewater into the drain pipe 20 difficult, whereby the amount of oil flowing out to the outside of the grease trap 10 can be suppressed.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
