PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a moving image photographic subject motion display device making motion of a human body or an subject easy-to-understand by generating arrow-shaped additional information for representing motion of a human body or a subject, including rotation or the like inside a video, composing it with the video and displaying the result.;SOLUTION: A moving subject area extracting section 20 extracts an area of the moving subject (a photographic subject) moving in the video. A moving subject motion extracting section 30 estimates presence/absence of translation motion of the gravity center of the moving subject and rotating motion of the moving subject, and an axis of the rotation by the presence or the absence of change of shape of the area and a track of a characteristic point inside the area. An arrow-shape determining section 50 generates the arrow-shaped additional information, having a shape/size corresponding to a movement amount or a change amount of the motion. Based on this, an arrow-shape composition section 60 superimposes it on an image of the photographic subject and generates display data of an arrow indicating motion of translation or rotation.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
