PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for preventing the electrolytic corrosion at the time of rotation of a submerged rotating machine excellent in the maintainability with a semi-permanent corrosion preventive effect without requiring outside power supply equipment.;SOLUTION: A thermoelement 3 is mounted on a bearing housing 2, etc., on the opposite side to a load at a position where the heat generated from a motor is transmitted, and the thermoelement 3 is made to generate thermoelectric power by utilizing the heat generated in the motor part at the time of rotation. Then the negative side thereof is made to run into the periphery of a main shaft 1 via a conductive element 4 through a conductive stationary body, and the positive side is made to run into an insoluble counter electrode 5 connected to a stationary body such as a motor frame 6 or a head cover 6b and brought into contact with a liquid.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
