PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To monitor a degradation level of refined oil in use at the site of use.;SOLUTION: An apparatus for measuring the degradation level of refined oil includes an excitation light irradiation part 1 for changing the intensity of excitation light R and irradiating refined oil with it; a fluorescence intensity detection part 2 for detecting the intensity of fluorescence Q which occurs by irradiation with the excitation light R; a time delay characteristics computation part 33 for computing the time delay characteristics of changes in the intensity of fluorescence Q to changes in the intensity of the excitation light R; and a degradation index value acquisition part 35 for making reference to the correlation between a degradation index value indicating the degradation level of refined oil and the time delay characteristics and determining the degradation index value on the basis of the time delay characteristics computed by the time delay characteristics computation part 33.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
