PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an optical fiber from being damaged by receiving an impact force from a lid.;SOLUTION: The connection structure 10 for an optical fiber includes a spacer member 18 which is inserted in a direction longitudinal along a holding groove 26 between a holding face 21 and a lid 14 so that at least a part of the lid 14 is separated from the holding face 21 against a pressurizing force by a pressurizing member 16, and which can be withdrawn in a direction longitudinal along the holding groove 26 from between the holding face 21 and the lid 14. Also, in guide grooves 32, 34 which are formed in a substrate 12 and the lid 14, with the spacer member 18 inserted therein, and in the spacer member 18, there are formed tapered slow changing parts 52, 54, 58 that expand in the attaching/detaching direction of the lid 14 to the substrate 12 toward the proximal end from the distal end of the spacer member 18. According to this structure, as the spacer member 18 is displaced in the withdrawing direction relative to the guide grooves 32, 34, the lid 14 can be made to gradually approach to the substrate 12.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
